Space bear sheet masks - just another reason I love Korean beauty products. Seriously, how does someone come up with that?
The OOZOO is an innovative brand that specializes in sheet masks. Their products have won design awards. I liked their “injection” mask so much that I decided to try their bear masks next (plus, just look at the adorable packaging).
The bear masks keep the ampoules separately from the sheet part (in the ear - cute) which ensures that the ingredients are at the peak of potency when you are ready to use them. The masks are made from bio-cellulose which is known for its superb adherence to the skin.
How to use:
After cleansing and toning, roll the ear as indicated on the package and push the ampoule into the main part of the mask
“Massage” the package to evenly distribute the ampoule
Apply the mask to the face for 10-20 minutes
Remove, discard, and follow with the rest of your routine
Oozoo Bear Black Space Pore Caring Mask
Have you ever heard the saying that one can’t be too rich or too thin? I’d revise that to say you can’t have pores that are too good. As our skin takes a beating from age and the elements, pores tend to lose elasticity and stretch out, becoming more noticeable (and more annoying). This bamboo charcoal mask features witch hazel and tea tree oil to make the pores appear smaller. “Pore care” masks are often focused on oily skin types, but this one is made for all skin types which is great.
The ampoule in the ear has a unique component called Oxyforce cellular active. Oxyforce cellular active increases the amount of oxygen in the skin which in turn stimulates collagen production. More collagen = more elasticity = smaller pores.
My impressions:
The material is very soft and feels great on the skin. There’s the right amount of saturation - the mask was still moist after 20 minutes. The serum and ampoule that saturate it have a thicker gel-like consistency and do not run down my neck which is a plus.
Pardon my expression as it’s incredibly difficult to smile in a sheet mask :)
My skin felt smooth and soft. The pores look visibly smaller and quite clean (including sebaceous filaments, which are those pesky dark “dots” that aren’t clogged blackheads but are part of the normal skin functions). I would definitely repurchase this.
OOZOO Bear Aurora Illuminating Mask
I have very fair skin with freckles around the nose and cheeks. I really don’t mind freckles and have embraced them my whole life, but I would like to avoid having them blend together into age spots, so I do what I can to keep them at bay. This bear mask promises a brighter complexion, help with pigmentation and redness reduction. One awesome part of being as pale as I am is the redness that strikes, sometimes out of the blue.
The mask itself has rice water and licorice root extract to soothe the skin and help with pigmentation.The ampoule in the ear contains caryocar brasiliense fruit oil / pequi fruit oil.This fruit oil has a moisturizing and calming effect on the skin.
My impressions:
I might have to stock up on these masks. The material is very soft, the scent is pleasant, and as you can see, it adheres so well to the skin. I keep the mask on for 20 minutes and my skin looks so much brighter with a more even skin tone at the end. The effect is definitely still visible the next morning. And my skin feels so soft to the touch!
My skin: combination with an oily t-zone and normal-to-dry cheeks.
