My impressions:
The cream came in a sealed metal tube that had to be punctured before the initial use (I love that, because it guarantees an airtight seal during storage and shipping). It has a faint “masculine” smell that’s only noticeable if I hold it directly to my nose. The consistency is thick and rich and I only need a small amount for the whole face and neck.
I’ve been using the cream for a few weeks at night. It is too rich for my combination skin during the day; maybe in the winter it would be alright in the mornings. It does get absorbed fairly well but some slight stickiness remains. By morning, the stickiness is gone and I wake up with a refreshed face and tighter looking skin. I’ve been losing a lot of weight which can cause temporary sagging in the jaw area, especially around the corners of the mouth, and that sagging has completely gone away since starting this cream. I think it would be best for dry-to-normal aging skin, works fine for combination skin, and would likely be much too heavy for oily skin. I have had no adverse reactions and no irritation. I have also been putting it on my hands before bed as hands can betray the real age much earlier than the face.
The slight sticky residual feeling is greatly reduced if you do not apply too many layers before the cream. I love the 10 step Korean skincare routine as much as anyone, but when I use this cream, I stick with toner, serum, and this cream and that’s it. That helps the cream get absorbed better, plus it’s what the official instructions say to do. Overall, I can confidently recommend this product as it does what it promises.
