Innisfree No Sebum Powder Cream Review

As an avid fan of Korean skincare and cosmetics, I rarely buy the same product more than one time. I like most of the items I purchase (because I take the time to carefully select them), but there is always something new to try. So when I make a repeat order, it is a big deal!

I am currently on a second jar of Innisfree No Sebum Powder Cream, and I would gladly buy a third. And a fourth… It’s available on eBay, Amazon, YesStyle, and Cosmetic Love. Pay attention when you order - there is also an Innisfree No Sebum Powder (loose powder), and that is not what this review is about.

This product combines three things - a primer, a cream, and a powder, to provide a shine-free finish that lasts the entire day. It simultaneously moisturizes and controls sebum (skin oil) production while hiding textural imperfections for a more flawless makeup application. It’s best for combination and oily skin types.

How to use:

  • Apply at the “cream” stage of skincare (after cleansing, toning, and essences/serums)

  • Applying the product before bed will regulate oil production while you sleep

  • Applying it in the morning will help the skin stay shine-free

I have combination skin (oily t-zone, dry-to-normal everything else) and use this product all over the face, but you can apply it exclusively to the oily parts, if desired.

My impressions:

This is my favorite summer cream ever. I use it all year long, mostly in the mornings, but in the warm seasons it is absolutely invaluable. I work on the office side of a manufacturing plant (so we have air conditioning), but I often go out to the plant itself (no AC) or outside where it gets very warm. When I use Innisfree No Sebum Powder Cream, I stay shine free all day, no matter what, and my makeup doesn’t slide or run, even when it’s very hot out.

If I use it at night, I wake up with a smooth, fresh face and not a trace of shine or oil. Plus, the cream makes my skin feel so velvety to the touch. So if I’m doing my evening routine but don’t plan on going to bed quite yet, I use Innisfree No Sebum Powder Cream to make my skin feel great while I go about my evening.

The jar looks to be on the smaller side, but less than a pea-sized amount of product is enough for my whole face, so one order tends to last me for months. It comes with a convenient spatula that you can use to get the cream from the packaging without dipping in your fingers.
