Canmake Cream Cheek Review

I have a round face and for years thought that blush wasn’t for me (wouldn’t want to risk looking even more round, right?). Well, I’m shedding some of those myths now and learning to embrace my face (and my body) and use things I want to use, not just the ones I’m supposedly allowed to use.

I find cream colors easier to apply and less intimidating than powders. Canmake Cream Cheek is a gel-type color that melts on the skin for a radiant glow. These come in 14 colors (mine is CL05 Clear Happiness) and are available on YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT) and Amazon.

How to use

  • Apply with fingers to the desired areas

  • Gently blend

  • Can be layered for a more intense color

The gel can be applied on top of powder or liquid foundation and sets to a non-sticky finish. You can see me use it in this video.

My impressions

I’m still timid when it comes to makeup, so I stick with one layer for a very natural look. I love it, especially after using bb cream which tends to wash me out slightly. This is the easiest blush I’ve ever used, and it’s also conveniently portable. Canmake is quickly becoming a favorite of mine when it comes to makeup, especially their marshmallow powder (review here). I highly recommend them if you want to try some Japanese brands.
