My body skin is very dry and is often neglected, especially when I’m tired and stressed. I do at least the basics for my face every night (cleanse / moisturize), but many evenings the body only gets washed and nothing else. It probably seems silly, but I’m more likely to use a body product if it’s super easy to spread and doesn’t require much effort during application. That’s why I decided to try body oil - it’s a great way to cover a large area of skin with very little effort and time commitment.
I’ve heard nothing but great things about Derma:B for body care - they make a wide range of lotions, body washes, and other products. When choosing an oil from a couple of options, the Derma:B CeraMD Repair Oil on Jolse caught my eye.Â
The formula is made with coconut oil plus patented Dualguard-7 and Cerapanthe to soothe the skin. It’s fragrance free.
How to use
Apply generously to any areas in need of care
The texture reminds me of a perfect blend of oil and thin lotion - it’s super easy to spread and feels great on the skin. I like applying the repair oil right after bathing when the skin is a bit moist from the water. It helps lock in all of that moisture. A few minutes after application, nothing feels sticky or tacky - just soft and moisturized.
My impressions
This is great! And I still forget to use it sometimes… Even the best product cannot cure my general mental fatigue and absolute unwillingness to do even the basic tasks… But most of the time, I remember and apply Derma:B CeraMD Repair Oil to my legs and arms in the evenings. It feels lovely, doesn’t smell like anything (so I can still use scented hair products or anything else without the scents clashing), and makes my skin so soft and wonderful. Definitely a good option for anyone needing a bit of body skincare. And since it’s fragrance free and generally mild, it would make a good gift for others as well. HIghly recommend!
