Georganic Goat Milk Brightening Cream Review

For years I thought that having combination/oily skin meant I didn’t need to use any creams. I was definitely wrong. Now that I understand better how hydration and moisture locking work, I appreciate a good moisturizer, especially at night. It’s a key element to keeping the wonderful moisture of toners and essences locked in.

Geogranic Goat Milk Brightening Cream has been a part of my evening routine for some time. I have paused to try other products, but always came back to this simple white jar. I think I have about 20% of it left now. It’s available on eBay and Amazon. I received it as part of a PR package.

Georganic is a new to me brand of Korean beauty that focuses on clean, non-toxic, and cruelty-free beauty (do not confuse with vegan - vegan products don’t contain animal ingredients; cruelty free do not test on animals).

The cream contains goat milk extract, niacinamide (for pigmentation and pore care), glycerin, arbutin, hyaluronic acid, and lavender oil. You can find a full list of ingredients at the end of the review. Goat milk is rich in fat molecules, gentle exfoliating components, and vitamin A. It can help soothe the skin, reduce redness, improve moisture levels, and brighten. Georganic Goat Milk Brightening Cream is made without chemical preservatives, artificial colors and fragrances (it’s not fragrance free, however, because it contains lavender oil), or silicones.

How to use:

  • Apply after toner and serum, in the morning and/or evening

  • Can also be applied to the eyes and lips

This product has a rich, silky texture and very little noticeable scent (at least for me). A little goes a long way, and applying too much may hinder absorption.

My impressions

This is a lovely moisturizer, especially for those with normal/dry skin. Because I’m on a combo/oily side, I only use this one at night. However, that may change as the weather gets colder and my skin needs more nourishment and protection from the elements.

I love the application process - the product is a pleasure to smooth over the skin because of its luxurious texture. I’ve been using this for weeks and weeks, and have noticed that my skin is softer. I’m not sure about the brightening, as I didn’t have any dullness issues to begin with. Despite being richer than many of my other moisturizers, this has caused 0 issues with clogged pores. I wake up with a soft, plumped up face - ready to tackle the day (or ready to slowly crawl into the kitchen to get coffee). I apply it to my lids with no issues at all. I haven’t tried it on the lips, but maybe I should.

This being my first (and only) Georganic product, I am excited about the other items this brand offers. Maybe I will get my hands on more in the future.
