I’m From Beet Refresh Pad Review

This post contains affiliate links. Product provided by Wishtrend.

I usually have a tub of toner pads on my bathroom sink - I reach for them every morning to gently wipe off any skincare from the night before while hydrating the skin. It’s a very quick, easy start to my morning and takes even less effort than a water rinse (because with a water rinse, I have to make sure I don’t get my entire front wet).

I’ve been using I’m From Beet Refresh Pads since before they officially launched and the tub is almost empty now. These are a part of the I’m From Beet line - check a short video reel here (the launch packaging was very unique). The pads are available on Amazon, YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), and Wishtrend (code LUCY15) and promise to hydrate and improve the look of dull and rough skin.

I’m From Beet Refresh Pad

I’m From Beet pads contain 20% red beet extract produced using cold decoction method (infusing at low temperature for 100 hours). The pads are made with special thick fabric that holds 20 times its own weight in essence.

How to use

  • After cleansing, place pads on desired areas and leave on for 5-10 minutes

  • Gently wipe over the entire face

  • Pat lightly to help the remaining essence absorb

  • Follow with the rest of your routine

These can also be used as a more traditional toner pad by simply wiping one across the face and neck. Each one is thoroughly saturated and there’s almost an inch of extra essence at the bottom of the tub. I notice a very faint scent that doesn’t linger.

My impressions

Usually, all toner pads are more or less the same, regardless of the brand. However, I’m From Beet ones stand out for two reasons - the fabric and the amount of essence. The material is so soft and plush - I’ve only experienced that with expensive sheet masks before. And the essence is slightly thicker than water, luxuriously hydrating and plumping. The pads are pretty much dripping with essence. I tend to use them as quick sheet masks and not to simply wipe off my face, because I don’t want to waste all that wonderful hydration.

If hydration is your goal, I think I’m From Beet pads are the best. If you are after a quick wipe down in the morning to jump start your routine, then these might be a bit too “wet” for that (although they work for me). Overall, I’m happy with these and continue to use them. I plan on spreading the leftover essence all over my body once the tub is empty (I’m trying not to stick my hands in there more than needed while there are still pads left - I use the included tongs).

These are worth a try for sure and might be the superstars in the beet line (although the wash off mask is also great).
