Do you ever feel like social media decides you need a certain product and continuously crams it down your throat until you finally make the purchase? That definitely happened to me with Paris Corner Eternal Coffee Perfume. I saw it EVERYWHERE - every reel, post, and targeted ad. The marketing gods decided I had to have it, and who am I to resist? So I bought it.
Paris Corner Eternal Coffee EDP is a creamy, sweet fragrance with a pronounced coffee note. It’s sold on Amazon and Aroma Concepts (discount code KBEAUTYHOBBIT). I love a good cup of coffee, both the taste and the aroma, so it really wasn’t hard to convince me to order this.
Top notes: coffee, milky, caramel
Middle notes: lactonic, coconut, heliotrope
Base notes: musk, sugar, tonka bean, creamy
The unisex scent is robust and long lasting. Even one spray fills the room and is still noticeable hours later. I am not the best at picking up the finer fragrance notes, but I do not notice coconut here. Just sweet caramel, milk, and coffee. When I showed it to a friend, he asked if I were hoping that “all the hipsters would follow me home”. Only if they can clean and do dishes!
The packaging is gorgeous. The brown glass bottle has a pleasant weight to it and feels luxurious.
My impressions
I wanted to love Paris Corner Eternal Coffee, but it isn’t for me. Arabic fragrances are known for their robust, long lasting scents, and this perfume is definitely no exception. Unfortunately, it’s a bit too strong for me. I own other perfumes from the UAE that I enjoy, but Eternal Coffee gave me a headache every time.
I wish it came with a little “scent dial”, similar to the volume button, so I could turn down the intensity a bit. With that said, I tend to be more sensitive to scents than the average person. Most of my personal care and household products are unscented, and I have only recently been able to enjoy fragrances. If your senses are more typical, or if you enjoy a good, strong smell, then you will likely love Eternal Coffee EDP. It has quite a following of devoted fans. The price is definitely right as well, especially considering how long a single spray lasts. I passed mine on, but I am not mad that I tried it.
