How to use
Add the cleanser and a bit of water to the palms
Gently later up
Apply to the face and massage in circular motions
Rinse with lukewarm water and follow with the rest of your routine
If you are using this as your AM face wash, then it’s just fine by itself. In the evenings, I prefer to start with a cleansing oil or balm, then follow with SKIN1004 ampoule foam as the second step.
The cleanser has a beautiful golden color, bubbles into a gentle foam, and has no scent. I think it would look amazing in a see-through tube so we could appreciate the iridescent look of the product that’s typically hidden by the packaging.
My impressions
I associate baking soda with harsh DIY remedies that do more harm than good. However, when properly formulated in a skincare product, it can be a wonderful ingredient. If I didn’t know SKIN1004 Ampoule Foam contained baking soda, I wouldn’t have guessed it based on the feel and performance of the cleanser - it’s lovely and gentle.
My combination skin is left clean but not stripped - I can easily use this daily with great results, because it’s so effective but still kind to the skin.
I usually only wash my face in the evenings and have been reaching for SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule Foam all the time, despite having several other options on my counter. No matter how my skin is feeling, even if it’s slightly irritated due to windy hikes or a hormonal breakout, this cleanser always works for me.
