VELY VELY Artemisia Return Cream Review

This post contains affiliate links. I won this product in a giveaway.

Vely Vely Artemisia Return Cream promises to soothe, nourish, and give a healthy glow to the skin. Artemisia extract calms irritation while squalane helps to lock in moisture. It’s available on Amazon and Jolse.

Artemisia is another name for mugwort, which is becoming increasingly popular in Korean skincare. Mugwort’s powerful healing attributes make it a great ingredient for sensitive, irritated skin. Naturally present antioxidants offer some anti-aging benefits.

How to use

  • Apply an even layer to the skin

  • I like using this after toner and serum

Vely Vely Artemisia Return Cream has a thick jelly consistency and an earthy color somewhat reminiscent of dulce de leche. There is a slight scent that doesn’t linger.

My impressions

I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry/normal u-zone. I use this Vely Vely moisturizer at night, especially if my skin is looking red or feeling irritated.

I’m used to gel creams being very light, but this one has a thick and bouncy texture. It’s a bit sticky after application. I don’t mind that in my evening products - all the stickiness is gone by morning. This would be too heavy (and too sticky) to be a morning cream for me.

I notice a soothing effect, plus my skin looks extra plump after using this. I’ll definitely keep this in my moisturizer rotation until I’m out. I do find myself wishing this came in a large pump bottle, as it would make an amazing body moisturizer.
