My skin: combination with an oily t-zone and dry/normal everything else, usually no major issues.
My experience with bubble masks started with Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask. I was so pleased with it that I happily went through two jars last year. But, as usual, the heart desires something new, so instead of ordering it for the third time, I decided to expand my bubbling horizons and ordering a Mamonde Petal Purifying Bubble Mask in Rose.
The mask is made with real rose petals using a proprietary technology - the beneficial ingredients are extracted using low temps but very high pressure. Rose as a cosmetic ingredient is famous for its hydrating and soothing properties, and this mask also contains camellia extract which is another great hydrating ingredient.
How to use:
1. Apply a generous layer onto a clean face (I also towel off my face gently)
2. Wait for 1-2 minutes
3. Wash off with water using gentle massaging motions
4. Continue with the rest of your routine (toner, serum, etc.)
Clean, refreshed skin in just one minute - I love it! The mask has an incredibly pleasant rose petal scent. The amount of bubbling may vary based on the storage conditions and the temperature of your skin and doesn’t affect the effectivity of the mask. The jar comes with a little extra lid that will keep air from getting in. So, once you remove the plastic seal, be sure to replace it with the “inner” lid and then use the main screw on lid as well. I get a pretty good amount of bubbles, but not half a foot like with Elizavecca :) And there’s no tickling sensation, which I also like. The bubbling process provides a gentle massage to the skin and improves microcirculation.
I use this mask a couple of times a week, usually before a shower because washing it off in the shower is the easiest for me. I always feel so happy smelling the roses and looking at my refreshed skin. If you need to look 100%, I recommend using the mask before putting on makeup (cleanse - mask - the rest of the skincare - makeup) because it improves the skin tone and removes impurities, which helps the makeup go on smoother and look more flawless.
