Innisfree Wine Jelly Sleeping Pack Review

I had very solid reasons for buying this mask: I wanted to buy something, the money was screaming in my wallet, and the two other night masks just didn’t satisfy my inner hoarder :)

And it turned out to be my most successful impulse buy of 2017. I love this mask and will definitely repurchase (my jar is almost empty).

The mask contains a powerful antioxidant polyphenol derived from Chateau Margaux wine and Innisfree’s famous Green Complex™. It hydrates, improves texture, and smoothes fine lines. It's available on eBay and Amazon.

How to use:

  1. Cleanse the face

  2. Apply your usual skincare steps except cream (toner, serum, lotion)

  3. Apply the mask as the last step before bed

  4. Wash off in the morning

I’ll let you in on a secret - sometimes I’m so tired (or lazy?) in the evenings that I don’t want to do the full evening routine. In those cases, I cleanse the face (only a total savage would skip this step), apply toner, and then this mask. It’s great. I also use it when the skin isn’t in need of much extra (for example, after the Innisfree warming ginger mask).

What I love about it:

  • The company - I order Innisfree with confidence as they don’t use harmful ingredients such as parabens and almost everything I’ve bought from them has worked for me.

  • The smell - the wine aroma is divine. I assume that’s what expensive wine smells like (I usually drink cheap stuff from Costco). It’s very, very pleasant - not overwhelming and doesn’t bother my husband.

  • Texture - the mask is a light gel and has a very interesting feature - the surface becomes smooth after every use (not immediately but overnight). So, every time it’s like dipping into a brand new jar. For example, in the picture my almost-empty jar has a glass-like surface. This “magic” makes me smile every time.

  • Effect on the skin - after using this mask, I wake up with what feels like a brand new face. Fine lines smooth out, the skin glows and feels velvety smooth to the touch. There’s no stickiness or anything else unpleasant.

My skin: combination with an oily t-zone and dry-to-normal cheeks.

A note about packaging: if you have tried other Innisfree products, then you are used to the jars arriving in cute boxes printed with soy ink. This mask comes without a box and the labeling is paper to the touch - but it’s not a fake product (as long as you purchased it from a reliable seller, you can read about the ones I prefer here). This type of packaging is how the wine line is manufactured.

Final verdict - I love everything about this mask; it would also make a fantastic present as it has the WOW factor and is suitable for all skin types. Highly recommend. It's available on eBay and Amazon.
