I love love loooove a good sheet mask. If you’ve read about my typical day, you already know that I’m a pretty busy person, but I will make a special effort to squeeze in some masking time (even if it’s while I’m making dinner or writing the next review). I have resisted buying Dr.Jart+ products for months because of the higher cost compared to my usual ~$1/mask choices. But then I finally caved. And they are so worth it! The best prices are on eBay and Amazon.
The cellulose gel Wrinkless Solution mask promises better skin texture and an improvement in wrinkle appearance. I’m 28 and have combination skin (oily t-zone with dry-to-normal cheeks) - the aging process is stubbornly trying to take hold. The gel mask is infused with beneficial active ingredients that are released as your body heat warms the material.
Active ingredients:
Bio peptides - protein ingredients that strengthen the skin, prevent aging and improve elasticity. The peptide molecules are much smaller than protein ones and can penetrate deeper into the skin, restoring it from within.
Collagen - one of the main building blocks of youthful looking skin, it plumps up fine lines and wrinkles to make them less visible.
Adenosine - increases the levels of collagen and elastin, making the skin appear smoother and younger. It is especially effective in the eye area (crow’s feet) and can also reduce swelling/puffiness.
The mask comes in two pieces (top and bottom) for a custom fit. At first, it’s quite wet and slippery, like an eye patch, but as it warms and the liquid starts to absorb into the skin, the gel adheres very well and walking/standing and so on is possible.
How to use:
Apply to clean skin after toner
Leave on for 20-40 minutes (I try to do 40)
Discard the gel and pat in the remaining essence
Follow with the rest of your routine (lotion, cream, etc)
The mask contains no parabens, sulfates, phthalates.
My impressions:
Short version - it’s definitely worth a little extra money. And after seeing what local fancy beauty stores charge for these, the direct from Korea eBay and Amazon listings look even more reasonable.
The masks are excellent. I had a five pack and I think I’m completely out now (sigh). They adhere superbly and feel so luxurious on the skin. There’s no scent that I can detect. The gel molds to the face as it warms with your body heat. The essence gets absorbed very well and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. My forehead line always looks much, much smoother and feels less deep to the touch. The entire face is hydrated, plump, and more radiant. I highly recommend these masks to anyone who wants some superb anti-aging care.
