The Saem Cell Renew Bio Soft Peeling Gel Review

I have combination skin with occasional issues like redness and breakouts, but not often.

If you have never tried a peeling gel - try it. It’s one of the best gifts Korean beauty has given me. Peeling gels are typically gentle yet effective ways to exfoliate dead skin without using “mechanical” methods like scrubs that may actually damage the skin’s barrier and even spread inflammation.

Why is exfoliation important? Because layering even the most expensive skincare products over layers of dead cells and debris is not going to be effective. Of course, please pace yourself and don’t over-exfoliate: once or twice a week should be sufficient for most people.

I fell in love with this The Saem peeling gel after the very first use. A liquidy white gel is applied to clean, dry skin with clean, dry hands in circular motions, avoiding eyes and lips. The product starts to “pill” right away (yes, like a fleece blanket), accumulating and removing dead skin cells in the process. After a 1 to 2 minute massage, wash off all the gel remnants and follow with your usual routine (toner, serum, etc.). The skin is left unbelievably smooth, clean (but without the “squeaky” dry feeling), and radiant. The feeling truly is amazing.

I love everything about the gel - from the ingredients to the scent. Even the packaging (a thick plastic tube) is of good quality. The product contains kombucha (fermented black tea) which improves the elasticity of tired skin. The gel doesn’t damage the surface the way physical exfoliants do, and bio encapsulated plants hydrate the skin. Cell bio encapsulation preserves the original plant form (unlike plant extraction). The encapsulated plant stem cells are highly concentrated and effective in addressing skin concerns. The capsule barrier breaks during application, and the encapsulated ingredients are delivered to the skin.

The gel is suitable for all skin types (I have combination skin). I use it once a week, sometimes once every 5 days, depending on the specific needs that week (always listen to your skin!). I have had no dryness or irritation post use. My pores are so clear now that I am hard pressed to find anything to extract.
