As usual, I’m a sucker for interesting packaging. I already had a bit of positive experience with the Yadah brand, so I confidently bought this Revitalizing Jelly Pack. I love jelly masks in general because the gel-like serum doesn’t run down my neck during application. Plus, it just feels cool to have a big sheet mask saturated in gel on my skin. Active ingredients:
Panax ginseng root extract - helps tone and brighten the skin and has anti-aging properties
Avocado fruit extract - moisturizes and smoothes the skin
Hydrolyzed collagen - a necessary protein that helps keep the skin wrinkle-free
Yadah is a Korean brand specializing in safe skincare and makeup. The firm’s founder started it when she couldn’t find skincare for her teenager with safe enough ingredients for sensitive skin. Their motto is “be your first love” - Yadah wants to awaken the tremble of the first love in their users. The company uses only safe organic ingredients certified by ECO CERT. Based on this, I always expected Yadah products to be for young skin, but this mask is actually anti-aging.
How to use:
Cleanse and use a toner
Rub the packaging to distribute the gel evenly
Apply to the skin, leave on for 10-20 minutes
Discard the mask, pat in the remaining essence
Follow with the rest of your routine
My impressions:
If you don’t like the smell of ginseng root, then this mask is not for you. I don’t mind it, but it’s definitely a potent herbal scent that dissipates during use. The mask adhered very well and felt nice on the skin. The soft cotton material is gentle and non irritating. My skin felt very soft and hydrated after the mask, and looked smooth and radiant the next morning. The safe, natural ingredients are also a huge selling point for me.
