Feelxo has an array of floral masks with great scents. The Glowing Marigold Mask variety promises - you guessed it - glowing skin! I could definitely use some of that. It came in one of my Facetory boxes (to learn more about those, read this post). I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry-to-normal cheeks.
Active ingredients:
Marigold (calendula) extract - an herb known for its soothing and healing properties, works as an antioxidant to combat free radical damage while improving collagen production for an anti-aging effect
Honey extract - soothes and kills bacteria
Celery extract - another antioxidant
How to use:
Cleanse and use toner
Apply the mask for 10-20 minutes
Remove and follow with the rest of your routine (lotion, etc)
My impressions:
The mask is made from very soft microfiber material that adheres superbly well. The little “flaps” under the eye openings are in case you want to lie down, close your eyes and extend the material over your eyelids - clever! Not sure what the slit in the middle of the nose is for (unicorns?). The mask is available in multipacks on eBay and Amazon or single packs on Facetory.
The smell is amazing - fresh and floral but not overwhelming. There’s just enough serum - the mask is fully saturated but doesn’t drip. It feels magical on the face after a day outdoors (I keep my masks in the fridge) - so soothing and nice. My skin felt really soft and supple afterwards. I didn't use the eye flaps because if I lie down and close my eyes, I will likely immediately pass out.
I typically fold all sheet masks in two after use and apply to my neck for 10 or so minutes (if the masks are still moist). This one works great for that because it adheres so well and stays put.
