Manyo Factory Bifidalacto Complex is an anti-aging essence described by the manufacturer as “magic”. 90% of it consists of Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli enzymes, adenosine, galactomyces and niacinamide.

Active ingredients:
Bifidobacteria and lactobacilli enzymes - support a healthy microflora of the skin, promote cellular regeneration and improve skin’s natural defense functions.
Galactomyces extract - the ancient rice wine makers who handled galactomyces (fermented rice yeast) with their bare hands had skin that looked young and healthy. It was then discovered that galactomyces helps maintain the skin’s elasticity and healthy coloring, slowing down the aging process. Manyo Factory ferments, purifies and filters this rice yeast for use in its formulas today.
Niacinamide - vitamin B3 and has been proven to reduce pore size, help minimize the appearance of wrinkles, and improve pigmentation.
Adenosine - increases collagen and elastin production.
All of the ingredients in this essence are EWG (Environmental Working Group) certified as green/safe. It is dermatologically tested and cruelty free. It’s available on* eBay and Amazon, although currently I see that Amazon only has a version with older packaging.
How to use:
Apply to clean skin after toner: 6-7 drops for dry skin, 4-5 for normal and oily.
Follow with other essences (if using), serums, etc.
Can be used morning and night and even mixed into face and eye creams, if desired.

My impressions:
The first Manyo Factory product I used was the Galactomyces Niacin Special Treatment Essence (review here). I then added this Bifidalacto Complex. The products layer beautifully and enhance each other. I am very fair (ok, pale…) and freckle super fast. This summer is the first one ever that I’m not completely polka dotted all over, and I think it’s largely due to the anti-pigmentation essences. I’ve always been very thorough with sunblock, so that’s not a new factor.
Bifidalacto Complex has a watery texture and absorbs very quickly. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry-to-normal cheeks; the essence claims to be suitable for all skin types and I agree with that - it should work for anyone. To me, it has no scent at all. I have noticed that my skin is smoother, softer, and definitely more even in tone. I still have some freckles, but I think that’s inevitable with my skin type. Besides, I find freckles charming, just don’t want them blending into age spots. I have a few fine lines that are trying to form, mostly on the forehead, and those have softened as well. Overall, I find this product effective and honest in its claims. The bottle is large (50ml) and economical, so it should last for a long time.
