One of the things that completely blew my mind when entering the world of Korean beauty is that they do not differentiate between day cream and night cream. I was so used to the Western standard of having a separate jar just for nights. Well, there’s something even better than night creams out there - sleeping packs! If you are not familiar with the category, it’s basically a special skin treatment to be used at night, but not daily. The instructions differ by product, but most are recommended to be used only a couple of times a week.
Elizavecca Green Piggy Collagen Jella Pack contains pure hydrolyzed collagen (50%, first ingredient on the list) to plump the skin and make it more youthful looking. My impressions:
I have two (one and a half?) fairly stubborn lines on my forehead. They aren’t smile lines, they are “what is wrong with you?” lines that people get if they raise their eyebrows a lot. How noticeable they are depends entirely on the state of my skin that day. If it’s dry and dehydrated, then the lines are visible. If it’s hydrated and nourished, then the only person who knows about them is me.
This is a good, budget-friendly mask. I actually won it from the manufacturer in a giveaway, but at full price it’s also a good value. My skin does well with it - I wake up with a refreshed face and my forehead looks a lot smoother than before use. There is no sticky or heavy feeling. I usually do wash my face with a foaming cleanser in the mornings, but sometimes a simple rinse with water and a konjac sponge is sufficient.
