Huangjisoo Centella Repairing Mask Review
The Huangjisoo Centella Repairing Mask made such great promises - to strengthen the skin barrier, repair and soothe the skin. It came as a gift with my Huangjisoo cleansing oil, which I’m in love with - review here.
I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry-to-normal cheeks with occasional breakouts, so I like centella products since they help everything heal better. Needless to say, I had high hopes for this mask based on the brand’s wonderful cleansing oil and foam. The mask is sold on eBay and Amazon and it’s not cheap.
Aaaaand… Yeah, this is NOT for me. It felt like an oily piece of wax paper, the kind meant for baking deliciously smelling cookies but not so much for being on the face. When I took the mask off, my face felt like it was covered in sticky, heavy goo. I ended up washing it all off and using my normal skincare. Of course, as always, this is simply my experience, so if anyone is completely in love with this product, I hope they are not offended.
Thankfully, the Korean beauty market is full of fantastic sheet masks, and you can read my reviews about the ones I’ve tried here.
