Jeu' Demeure Aqua Mask - Hydrating Review

During the winter, my skin can never get enough hydration. I bought one of the interesting looking masks - Jeu’ Demeure Aqua Mask - on Facetory to try out. The mask promises to balance the skin and keep it moisturized.

Active ingredients:

  • Trehalose - hydrates and helps with moisture retention

  • Sodium hyaluronate - attracts environmental moisture to the skin

  • Glutamic acid - balances the pH levels and helps maintain hydration

How to use:

  1. Apply to a clean face after toner

  2. Relax for 10-20 minutes

  3. Remove and pat in the remaining essence

My impressions:

Let me start with the most notable thing about this mask - it smells like fancy, expensive men’s cologne. At first I thought maybe it’s just my strange pregnant sense of smell, but no - my husband noticed the same aroma. It’s not unpleasant, but very very unexpected. I do not recall ever having a sheet mask with that kind of fragrance before.

The sheet is thin and soft, fully saturated in essence and fit my face shape fairly well. The mask delivered the promised hydration - my skin felt plump and soothed after use.

I would get this again, even given the interesting smell, because it worked well. You can read my other sheet mask reviews here.
