Petitfee Agave Cooling Hydrogel Eye Mask Review

To be completely honest, I’m not a huge fan of eye creams. They are either too heavy, too oily, or I simply forget to use them. But I LOVE eye patches (and not just for the eyes). A couple of years ago it was very hard to find even one paraben-free patch product, but I didn’t give up. Either I got much better at looking, or maybe the very responsive Korean beauty market followed consumer demands for safer products, but paraben-free items are much easier to find these days.

My latest purchase is Petitfee Agave Cooling Hydrogel Eye Mask with sapphire dust (is that just marketing? But so pretty). The jar contains 60 patches / 30 pairs. I apply them to the forehead and the nasolabial folds as those areas can use targeted hydration as well. They are sold on eBay, Amazon, and YesStyle (use reward code KBHOBBIT for extra savings)

Petitfee Agave Cooling Hydrogel Eye Mask patches are enriched with a blue “cocktail” of agave, blueberries, egg plants, caffeine, spirulina, and several types of seaweed that increase the level of moisture in the skin and promote a healthy complexion.

How to use:

  • apply to clean skin after toner

  • leave on for 15-20 minutes

  • remove and discard

  • follow with your usual routine

These patches can be used both morning or night. In the morning, they effectively reduce puffiness and prepare the skin for makeup (especially if your concealer tends to settle in the small creases under the eyes). In the evening, they help reduce fatigue, relax and plump the skin. The patches are very well saturated and thus can slide off the face a bit at first. But then they warm up with your body’s heat and adhere very well. The top layer of hydrogel melts, releasing all the goodness of the ingredients into your skin. I have been able to walk around the house with them while bouncing the baby to sleep:

My impressions:

I’m really enjoying these. They are pleasant all around: a non intrusive, delicate scent, beautiful color - the entire experience of self care is very important to me. The patches really do reduce puffiness and swelling. Sleep, especially deep sleep, doesn’t happen much around here these days, but this product makes me look like I get a solid eight hours every night. The two fine lines on my forehead get plumped into non existence.

I can’t speak about the cumulative effect of the patches, because I have no serious issues with the skin. I’m using these mostly as a preventative measure. The price is quite affordable, so these can be used daily, if you wish. If you'd like more eye care reviews, they can be found here.

Have an amazing day, everyone! And remember to do at least one thing today that makes you smile.
