A’PIEU Honey & Milk Lip Oil Review

One of my favorite kbeauty products of all time is the Petitfee Lip Oil. I’ve gone through two or three bottles of it, and my latest one is nearly out. This time, I decided to try something else and got the A’PIEU Honey & Milk Lip Oil, available on Amazon and YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT). The oil promises smooth, firm, and luscious lips thanks to honey and milk proteins.

How to use

  • Apply to the lips as needed

  • Can be used over lip tints

The applicator is a fuzzy “doe foot” that used to be the norm for lip oils. These days, a lot of brands have moved to using smooth spatulas, making it more convenient to wipe off any lip colored products if the oil is used over them. I personally prefer the fuzzy applicators.

The lip oil has a faint, pleasant scent and is pretty sticky when applied.

My impressions

Sadly, this was a massive disappointment. I like the packaging, the applicator, and the smell - that’s about it. The “oil” inside is thin, sticky, and not very nourishing. I’m still using it, because it’s not the kind of product that can be passed down to a friend. I don’t see any results beyond the slight nourish immediately after application. The stickiness is a huge drawback.

While I don’t enjoy spending my money on “fails”, they do serve a purpose. And sometimes that purpose is to show that the tried and true Petitfee oil is still the best.
