In recent months, Amuse lip products took over my makeup drawer. I started with the jel-fit tint, which I liked, but my friend told me that’s not even the brand’s best formula. Ok fine, I proceeded to get Amuse Dew Velvet in #01 Boksoonga Blossom and Amuse Dew Tint in #13 Dew Boksoonga, both available on Jolse - watch the unboxing / swatch reel here. Boksoonga is Korean for “peach”.
The dew tints promise a lightweight, watery texture with a glossy finish. In addition to pigments, they contain vitamin E, apple and mango to hydrate and care for the lips.
The dew velvet tints are 40% water based with a velvety, long lasting finish.

My impressions
Buying lip products and using lip products tend to be two separate hobbies, but not this time! Since the Amuse dew tints (both the velvet and regular) are so easy and fun to use, I reach for them almost daily.
The dew tint goes on effortlessly and feels slightly moisturizing. I was a bit worried about the velvet variety after trying to swatch it - it wasn’t spreading easily on my palette and didn’t seem very pigmented. However, it acts totally differently on the lips. Yes, the makeup is thinner in consistency than the dew, but looks beautiful on and dries down to a matte finish without irritating the lips.
I can't decide which variety I like more. If I absolutely had to choose, I would probably go for the dew tint since I like a glossy lip. But the velvet variety lasts longer. Good thing I can use both and don’t have to pick.
I see the brand also makes dew balms and even a set of mini ones, and I must have them! And I wouldn’t mind more colors of the formulas I already own.
