By Wishtrend Hydra Enriched Ampoule Review

Hydration is needed in all seasons. My combination skin freaks out and turns into an oily mess if it’s dehydrated. Now that it’s getting warmer and we are cranking up indoor cooling, I’m paying special attention to make sure my skin isn’t drying out. Wishtrend just released a new exclusive product just for that - By Wishtrend Hydra Enriched Ampoule. It’s available on their site at a special launch discount. You can save on their other products with my code LUCY15.

By Wishtrend Hydra Enriched Ampoule features aloe vera for long lasting hydration, along with hyaluronic acid, allantoin, and panthenol. The product can be layered multiple times to replenish the skin and support a healthy barrier.

How to use:

  • Apply after cleansing and toning

  • Spread a few drops over the face and neck, pat in

  • Finish with moisturizer

Sometimes I also add a watery essence in between the toner and the ampoule. Experiment and see what works best for your skin.

The product has a very pleasant texture, definitely thicker than water but not quite a gel. It almost reminds me of an oil that’s not oily (maybe that wasn’t the best description). It’s not sticky and not greasy. I do not notice a scent at all. The blue color comes from the malachite extract and not from any artificial sources.

This product is vegan, cruelty free, and made without artificial colors or fragrances.

My impressions

Even though the ampoule just launched, I’ve been testing it for a few weeks (one of the perks of being a blogger).

I’ve been using this in my evening routine. It’s definitely OK for mornings as well, but I’m extra lazy and extra sleepy at that time. My skin type is combination with oily and dry areas, which makes coming up with a routine extra challenging. I’ve had a good time with the hydra ampoule - it hydrates without overwhelming the oily areas, and I actually notice my skin behaving more like a “normal” skin type vs oily. The dry zones are happy, and so are the oily ones.

I think this is worth a try, especially if you don’t currently have a dedicated hydrating serum. A basic hyaluronic acid one is always nice, but the hydra enriched ampoule offers many extra beneficial ingredients on top of just sodium hyaluronate.

What do you think? Are you going to try this?
