Chasin’ Rabbits Green Golden Ruler is an antioxidant-rich moisturizer that promises to soothe and supply moisture without stickiness. The marketing materials also say it will “release wastes and toxins from the skin”, but I’m skeptical about that part. The cream is available on YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), Amazon, and Wishtrend (code LUCY15).
I did a little digging around to figure out why it’s called “golden ruler”. YesStyle claims that this cream helps reach “the optimal oil-water balance by the golden ratio of the main ingredients”. The listings describe the texture as yogurt-like, however to me the cream is much lighter than any yogurts I’ve eaten. It has a faint, fresh, amazing scent. The ingredients do not contain any artificial fragrance, but something in there must have a natural aroma that I adore. It doesn’t linger.
How to use:
Apply a generous layer after cleansing
Gently pat in
Add another layer to dry areas, if desired
Use daily in the AM and PM
These instructions are quite simplistic, and perhaps you’d love them if you are on a quest to minimize skincare steps (still add SPF in the AM, please). I enjoy a more elaborate skincare routine, so I use this cream as the last step of my evening skincare (after toner, essence, and serum) or right before SPF in the morning (after a toner pad and vitamin C). During the warmer months I do not use a separate moisturizer in the morning (SPF is enough), but now that it’s winter I enjoy an added layer between the skin and the elements.
The jar is glass, which adds a certain level of luxury to the whole experience, even though I wouldn’t describe the whole brand aesthetic as “luxurious” - it’s fun with a 60s hippie vibe.

This lovely cream came to me in a special Wishtrend Black Friday Box (watch the video here), and I had a feeling it would be a win from the very first swatch. It didn’t disappoint! The light texture is wonderful - it moisturizes but doesn’t overwhelm the oily areas of my combination skin and isn’t greasy at all.
My skin absorbs this quickly and feels so smooth and soft afterwards. I look forward to each use and reach for the jar often. It’s definitely plumping and makes my face look more rested and moisturized. I highly recommend Chasin’ Rabbits Green Golden Ruler to anyone who wants an effective moisturizer with a light texture.
