Clevos Natura Foresta Natural Organic Hair Shampoo Rumohra Review

My haircare is a never ending quest. Hopefully I get a princess at the end and not a dragon… I’ve been searching for a good shampoo, something to clean my oily scalp and roots and not dry out the rest of the hair. I have fine, straight hair color treated with henna monthly.

I introduced Clevos Natura Foresta Natural Organic Hair Shampoo to my hair routine a few weeks ago. Clevos makes several kinds. I chose the Rumohra variety since it’s marketed for oily scalp. It’s available on Amazon, sold by Credithink - a trusted retailer of authentic Korean skincare. You can save 10% with my code kbhobbit10 on all their offerings.

The shampoo promises to cleanse and even gently exfoliate the scalp, control sebum, soothe irritation, and make the hair silky smooth.

The packaging is beautiful and has an actual plant piece floating in the caramel-colored shampoo. I absolutely loved taking product shots for the review and couldn’t wait to use this.

Clevos Natura Foresta Natural Organic Hair Shampoo with Rumohra has a lovely texture and foams into very gentle bubbles. I love the scent - it fills the air with a pleasant fragrance while using but doesn’t linger.

My impressions

This was a crushing disappointment. To the point that I cannot use this at all.

I have tried the Clevos shampoo several times. I’ve air dried my hair, blow dried it, used a conditioner or even no conditioner - I tried every possible way to get this to work for me. The sad reality is that this shampoo doesn’t get my scalp clean. What’s worse - it actually makes it MORE oily.

Typically, I shampoo my hair every other day and my roots look fine. I wash my hair at night, let it dry or blow dry it, then go to bed. With Clevos, the very next morning, not even 12 hours after shampooing, my hair is already oily! Even if I wash my hair daily, I can’t have it looking dirty immediately. I wonder if it’s from all the various plant extracts and other nourishing ingredients in the formula. This may work for someone with extremely dry hair and scalp - marketing it for oily scalp may have been a mistake.

On the bright side, it makes for a very nice (but expensive) body wash.

Have you found a great kbeauty or jbeauty shampoo for oily scalp that won’t strip off the color? If so, please let me know!
