Wishtrend recently introduced a new, exclusive brand - ELMT (pronounced as “element”) to their lineup. I was lucky to receive two of their products for testing before the brand even launched.

ELMT Skin Activating Solution is a watery, fast absorbing product that promises to reduce inflammation and irritation for a healthy complexion. 58% green tea comes together with 14.70% Chinese skullcap for a supreme antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect.
How to use:
Apply after cleansing using hands or a cotton pad (I use hands)
Can be used in the morning or at night
The product is clear and odorless (as far as I’m able to detect) and has the consistency of water. It would be great to use for the popular 7 skins method (applying a hydrating toner up to 7 times in a row) if your skin is very dry. I can see it benefitting anyone from dry to oily skin, especially if it’s prone to redness and irritation.
My impressions
I have been using the ELMT Skin Activating Solution either in the morning or at night for a few weeks. In the evening, I sometimes follow it with the ELMT Skin Illuminating Solution (review here) to get both hydration and pigmentation care.
I have combination skin with an oily t-zone, so it’s important for me to hydrate without overwhelming and congesting the skin. I’m loving the light, watery texture of the Activating Solution - it provides the much needed boost to the skin’s moisture levels without feeling heavy or sticky. I’ve had no problems layering other products on top.
As I mentioned in my prior ELMT review, my one tiny suggestion would be to differentiate the products a bit more when it comes to packaging. Since I have two of the solutions, I always have to actually read the label to see which one is which. I would prefer to be able to tell at a glance, either via differently colored labels, caps, or bottles themselves. It’s a pretty minor thing, and I can see others actually preferring this similarly looking aesthetic.
