I’m From Ginseng Eye Cream Review

I’ve been so into eye creams lately (for a little bit over a year now). I know that a dedicated eye product is technically not required, and that a basic facial moisturizer will do. However, as someone with combination skin, I sometimes have face moisturizers that are on the lighter side, so it’s nice to have a separate rich eye product. Plus, I just like the experience. Skincare for me is much more than a basic daily activity - it’s a wonderful ending to an often stressful day.

I am currently using I’m From Ginseng Eye Cream in the evenings. It is made with three types of ginseng and promises smooth and firm skin. The product texture is specifically designed to “stick” to all the lines and grooves and fill them with moisture. It’s available on* Wishtrend, YesStyle (use reward code KBHOBBIT for extra savings), and official Wishtrend Amazon and eBay storefronts.

How to use:

  • Apply around the eyes, gently pat in

  • Can also be used as a nourishing face cream at the end of your routine

The formula is rich and luxurious and comes in a glass jar. A very small dab is enough for both eyes, so I can’t even try to guess how long this will last me. I’m From Ginseng Cream does have a slight scent, nothing distracting or lingering. I barely notice it.

My impressions

I am very picky about eye creams (I think I say this in every eye cream review). I can tolerate less than ideal cleansers, toners, etc., but never an eye cream - it has to be perfect. With my oily, hooded eyes anything too heavy ends up transferring into my actual eye and I hate it.

I’m From Ginseng Eye Cream is a richer formula than what I typically go for, but I am definitely enjoying it. I use a little bit every night around the eyes. Pro tip - nourishing eye creams are great for nasolabial folds and neck wrinkles as well.

Some people may get milia from very occlusive eye products, but that has not been my experience. In fact, I don’t find this cream greasy or heavy. Yes, it’s rich, but it melts into the skin beautifully. By morning, I wake up with refreshed, moisturized skin. For me personally, this would be too much for the AM routine. If you are someone with very dry / mature skin, then you may enjoy it all day long.

I’m very happy with this product. And since it takes so little per application, I may use it on my neck and even the rest of the face if I can’t finish the jar before the expiration date by only applying to the eye area. I’m falling in love with the ginseng line - read my I’m From Ginseng Mask review here. I think I need to try the serum next.
