Some of my favorite skincare comes from the Wishtrend family of brands. I’m From mugwort, honey, and fig wash off masks have been a stable part of my skincare routine for years. When I’m From announced a special, limited edition Hug Mask, I had to get it! It’s still available on Wishtrend (code LUCY15), but once it’s gone - it’s gone. No more will be made.
This mask is a combination of the iconic I’m From Honey Mask and I’m From Fig mask, released for the brand’s 10th anniversary. The honey part soothes the skin and has an anti-inflammatory effect. The fig part gently removes dead skin cells and other debris by dissolving and then scrubbing them away.
How to use
Apply after cleansing
Leave on for 10-30 minutes
Gently massage with damp fingers and rinse
Follow with the rest of your routine to lock in moisture
The mask has a creamy texture with some physical exfoliant inclusions. 20% natural Honey from Jirisan Mountain nourishes, while natural fig enzymes and brown sugar exfoliate. I notice a pleasant scent of honey that’s gone as soon as the mask is rinsed off.
My impressions
This is amazing, and I sincerely hope it becomes a regular product instead of just a one time deal. The concept was born after several consumers said they mix the honey and fig masks together themselves, so I guess I could do that if all else fails. But a pre mixed tube is definitely awesome and convenient.
I have combination skin with oily and dry zones. I’m also a regular tret user who gets occasional peeling, and a gentle physical exfoliant takes care of that in one use. The I’m From Hug Mask nourishes the dry areas without overwhelming the oily ones. The fig part exfoliates just enough to get all of the peeling skin off but not irritate the barrier. My face feels so soft and smooth afterwards! I finish with a simple moisturizer and go to bed. Absolutely perfect.
I highly recommend this mask before Wishtrend runs out of them.
