Isntree Mugwort Calming Ampoule, available on Amazon, YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), and Stylevana (code INF10KBH), promises to soothe and nourish the skin. Mugwort is one of the best ingredients for irritated, reactive, or acne-prone skin. I try to have at least one mugwort product in my rotation at all times.

How to use
Apply 2-3 drops to the face

I don’t measure drops, just pour about half a dropper’s worth into my palms and then apply the ampoule all over the face, neck, and chest after cleansing and toning.
The mugwort calming ampoule is watery and has a very faint, short lived scent. My skin absorbs it quickly - there’s no stickiness left behind, at least not after I seal it in with moisturizer.
My impressions
I love mugwort products, especially I’m From mugwort mask and mugwort essence. The Isntree ampoule is quite mediocre. It’s hydrating, sure, but so are 99% of the bottles on my counter. I don’t notice any great soothing or help with redness. And because this Isntree product was so average, I didn’t find myself reaching for it often. As the expiration date kept creeping closer and closer, I used up the remaining ampoule on my body. Typically, body skin shows results quicker than my face since my body isn’t as spoiled with skincare. However, in this case I didn’t see any results beyond a bit of added hydration on my body either.
Isntree is a hit and miss brand for me; this one was a miss.
