I’ve been a heavy Korean beauty user for several years now, and it’s getting harder and harder to surprise me. However, I have never had a product like the Klairs Youthful Glow Sugar Mask. This mask can be used in several ways - as a makeup remover / cleanser, as an exfoliator, or as a nourishing mask. Let me explain.
Kaolin, grapefruit extract, raspberry oil and jojoba are blended with shea butter and other goodies to form a gently cleansing and deeply nourishing mask. And for an extra oomph of mild exfoliation, the product creators added sugar to the mix. Wow. The mask is sold on Wishtrend, eBay, Amazon, and YesStyle.
How to use as an exfoliator :
Apply the Sugar Mask on wet skin after cleansing
Massage gently
Wash off with warm water

Rinse off after 10 minutes
The manufacturer says that this product will remove light makeup (bb cream and SPF), but not eye makeup. I always apply mine to clean skin, so I do not have personal experience to share.
The way I use the mask is a combination of the two methods above - I apply it to clean, moist skin and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then, I gently massage my face and let the sugar particles do their exfoliating job. Then rinse.
My impressions:
Klairs doesn’t disappoint! It’s a wonderful, gentle yet effective mask, that’s both nourishing and exfoliating. It’s a pleasure to use. The texture is rich and luxurious; the light pink mask glides onto the skin - I love using it. I don’t detect any scent.
I’ve been using Klairs Youthful Glow Sugar Mask one to two times a week for a few months now. Afterwards, I either apply nothing at all (all those wonderful oils leave my skin supple and soft) or use a thin layer of cream. I expect the jar to last me a long time, since each application only takes a bit of product. I definitely recommend this.
