Laneige is probably the most recognized kbeauty lip mask brand, but there are many other worthy options to explore. Petitfee Oil Blossom Lip Mask is available on Amazon, YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), and Stylevana (code INF10KBH). It promises to nourish and care for the lips with the help of five plant oils - camellia, moringa, argan, jojoba seed and meadowfoam seed.

How to use

  • Apply to the lips before sleeping

  • Wipe off the next morning

These are the official instructions, but I never felt the need to wipe anything off the next morning. The mask gets absorbed by the lips and doesn’t have any unpleasant residue. It’s also perfectly suitable for use throughout the day if desired - it doesn’t have to be a uniquely nighttime treatment.

Petitifee lip mask comes in a glass container - I love that, because it makes the product feel more luxurious. The pretty pink color is from the natural ingredients and not artificial pigments.

My impressions

I really like this mask - it’s nourishing but not sticky. I actually prefer it to the iconic Laneige, because it’s softer and less waxy. After trying various lip masks in jars, I finally realized that I am simply less likely to use any lip product in a tub vs a squeeze tube or a twist bullet. Call it a sensory issue, but I do not like scooping the emollient balms with my fingers, and I always lose the included spatulas. I stick to tube packaging now and actually reach for those balms often enough to make a difference for the lips.

If you do not mind the sensory component of lip balms in tubs, then absolutely try the Petitfee Oil Lip Mask. Camellia (what I had) targets dry lips, and Buckthorn variety focuses specifically on lips with darkening concerns. Both provide nourishment. What’s your favorite lip product?
