Romand makes lovely makeup - their glasting lip tints are iconic, and I love the tinted balms as well. Even though I have a holy grail favorite mascara (Heimish Dailism), I thought I’d branch out and try something new - Romand seemed like a great choice.

Romand Han All Fix Mascara is a water and oil resistant formula with Long and Volume versions. Volume is sold in Black only.
Long comes in several colors and is available on YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), Stylevana (code INF10KBH), Olive Young (code KBHOBBIT77), and Nordstrom. I chose L02 Long Ash. I usually stick with black mascaras, but it’s fun to experiment every once in a while. Non-black makeup can look softer and more natural, plus it adds a bit of variety to my go-to daily looks.
How to use
Start with a lash curler (optional)
Apply Romand Han All Fix Mascara from root to tip
Let dry
The curved, slim brush is wonderful for reaching every lash, including the elusive corner ones, without smudging mascara anywhere else.

I need a dedicated makeup remover or micellar water to get this mascara off. A couple of cleansing oils I’ve tried, including the cult favorite Softymo, didn’t touch it. If you’ve ever used the iconic Heroine mascara, which needs its own special remover, Romand isn’t as “remover proof” as Heroine. It comes off just fine with Garnier micellar water (blue bottle) or Equate brand eye makeup remover. Others should work as well, but these two are what's on my bathroom sink at the moment.
My impressions
This is fine, but doesn’t come close to my all-time favorite Heimish. I am not sure what would have to happen for me to like a non-tubing mascara. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad product.

The Ash color is a lovely option for a less-intense eye look without going with warm browns. Many mascaras, including expensive crowd favorites like Benefit, end up flaking and settling under my eyes - Romand does not. Nearly every waterproof mascara I’ve tried makes my eyes tired, dry, and irritated - but not this one! If you want a great waterproof formula and don’t mind needing a separate remover to take it off, then definitely try Romand Han All Fix Mascara. The reason I prefer Heimish is because I like using cleansing oil all over the face and don’t want to remember an eye makeup remover too.
