I’ve been a kbeauty enthusiast for close to a decade. So many things have changed since then, both in my personal life and in the world. If you are just starting out or simply want to explore more shopping options, this article is for you. I will go over all of my favorite places to get Korean and Asian skincare and makeup, with pros and cons for each (plus some discounts!).
These are in no particular order. What’s best for you will depend on many factors. I am located in the USA. Most of these sites have international shipping, but not all. Please keep in mind that if a shop doesn’t appear on my list, it doesn’t mean it’s bad. My list includes only the sites that I personally frequent and that are accessible to a wide variety of shoppers. There might be other options, local brick and mortar stores, etc. If you have a question about a specific site or store, please consider posting in my private Facebook group - Korean Beauty Fanatics. The other members and I will try to help you.

Amazon
Discount: I don’t have a specific discount, but I keep my favorites (by category) here
Tariffs: already factored into the price of the product. No separate bill upon delivery.
Pros: Nothing beats Amazon if you need the product quickly, especially if it’s just one or two items. Many brands have official storefronts, so you can shop confidently. Lightening deals, prime days, and other sales make shopping on Amazon even more tempting. Free returns? Yes, please.
Cons: Some people have ethical concerns with Amazon and their practices. If that’s you, keep reading - there are other options. Also, make sure you look at descriptions and seller information thoroughly.
It’s very rare to get a truly counterfeit product (titled exactly the same as the official one), but it’s pretty common to see similar packaging and product description without an official brand listed. This is especially true for very popular products. Sleazy brands are hoping that we don’t look at the item closely and will mistake it for whatever is currently viral online.
Lastly, not every item on Amazon will have a competitive price. If you are planning a bigger haul, it might make sense to look into other options.

YesStyle - shop here
Discount: reward code KBHOBBIT. Stacks with any YesStyle “coupon” codes. Must be signed in to use (and be sure to enter it under Reward code).
Tariffs: included in product pricing. You should not have any further charges upon delivery. If you do end up getting a tariff bill, submit a claim to YesStyle and they will reimburse the charges in the form of product credit. Out of 4-5 orders I made after the de minimis exemption ended, I only paid a tariff on one of them and it was an “influencer” review item, not a typical customer order. YesStyle deposited product credit in my account a couple of days after claim submission. The process was very simple.
Pros: HUGE selection of not only kbeauty but also Japanese products, clothing, etc. You сan even find French and US brands (for our international friends who want a one stop shop). Great prices with many promotions and sales. The sales change, but there are always good deals on at least a few brands. Customer service is quick, both via chat and email. Everything comes carefully packaged - I only had one item get damaged in transit in the last 8 years, and YesStyle replaced it without issues.
YesStyle includes clearly listed ingredients and product usage instructions in English. This is huge, because most websites do not list ingredients.
Typically, free shipping on orders over $49 (but can change, depending on the week / deals).
Cons: Takes 3 or so weeks to arrive in the USA (Express shipping is available, but lately not often). If one item is out of stock, the whole order will wait for it (which is clearly disclosed by YesStyle, and you get an additional warning about this when checking out).
Olive Young - shop here
Discount: KBHOBBIT77
Tariffs: OY adds 15% to the order total at the time of checkout. No additional charges upon delivery.
Pros: Free 5-7 day shipping via FedEx on orders over $60. Large selection of cosmetics + food and drinks.
Ability to see “Top” and “Top in Korea” for best sellers. For all the skincare nerds like me who want to see what’s trending in Korea and not only what kbeauty is popular in the USA.
Some “Olive Young exclusive” products and variations that can’t be found anywhere else.
Unlike many other retailers, OY has brick and mortar stores. If you are ever in South Korea, check them out. It’s one of my dreams for sure.
Cons: only Korean brands, no other countries / regions (as far as I know). Prices do not seem as good as YesStyle, but will depend on the specific product and available promotions.

Stylevana - shop here
Discount: INF10KBH
Tariffs: included in the price - no further charges upon delivery.
Pros: large selection (including jbeauty), low shipping minimums, good pricing. Some items are sold in lots - you could buy a single unit or save a bit by purchasing several at once. Stylevana also has exclusive boxes / “pouches” - sets of items at a discount that are only available on SV.
Cons: I have never had a bad experience with Stylevana, but some members of my group report slow communication and unreachable customer service.
Similar to YesStyle, the whole order will be on hold if there is a single item out of stock.
iHerb - shop here
Discount: CWN6107
Tariffs: included in the price - no further charges upon delivery.
Pros: This site is so slept on! Sure, they are mostly about vitamins and supplements, but iHerb also carries a good selection of kbeauty. Fast shipping with low order minimums to get free delivery. It’s not as fast as Amazon, but still faster than ordering directly from Hong Kong or South Korea. When I wanted to try some new blush during the “tariffs are super new and nobody knows what’s happening” USA uncertainty, I ordered my favorite kbeauty brands from iHerb and they arrived within a week.
You can also add non-beauty items to your order - protein bars, kitchen things, etc.
Cons: A much smaller selection than other sites, with some makeup items only available in specific colors.
Final Thoughts
We live in “unprecedented times”. Sure, losing access to our favorite Asian beauty products may not be the most serious of problems. However, sometimes it’s the smallest things that make a difference in our day (or turn into the proverbial last straw). I want all of my readers to know that we still have options. Yes, they may take longer to arrive or cost a bit more, but we aren’t stuck with just USA brands. And if you are a skincare / makeup enthusiast like me, chances are you already have more than is strictly necessary. It’s a good time to shop our stashes and focus on using what we have, while being more judicious about new purchases. Whatever you choose to do, I am here to offer any help and advice to the best of my ability.
