I recently reviewed SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Toning Toner (read here), and now it’s the Ampoule’s turn. Just like the toner, SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule has been all over my social media feeds lately, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule is a single ingredient product - 100% centella asiatica extract - and it promises to moisturize, soothe, help repair skin damage and maintain oil-water balance. It's sold on YesStyle (use reward code KBHOBBIT for savings), iHerb (use discount code CWN6107), Jolse, and Amazon.

How to use:

  • Apply a few drops after cleansing and toning

  • Gently pat in

  • Follow with the rest of your routine (moisturizer, SPF in the morning, etc)

The ampoule is thicker than water but not quite a gel and has no scent. It is very easy to apply, although I have to admit I use more than just a few drops at a time. The packaging is glass with a dropper and has a cute little secret - discover it in this reel.

My impressions

I really enjoy this product. It’s not flashy and doesn’t claim to solve all of my problems, but it does its job of soothing and reducing redness incredibly well. The texture is just right for an enjoyable application experience. I typically use this in the evening, but it would be ok for mornings as well. It also adds extra hydration to my routine.

I have combination skin that’s not particularly prone to breakouts, but I do get occasional redness and blemishes. I also sometimes pick at pimples (definitely don’t recommend that), so having a great healing product like this at my disposal is a must. The 100ml size will last me for some time, and the price seems reasonable for that amount.

If you are looking for a good soothing ampoule that will work for most skin types, then definitely check this one out.
