SKIN1004 Zombie Pack Review

This is a sponsored post with affiliate links. All opinions are my own.

If you are into skincare at all, you have probably heard of SKIN1004 Zombie Pack. I know I have, but never owned them (until now). I recently received a huge shipment of SKIN1004 skincare (unboxing reel here), and the Zombie pack was one of the items! I finally got to try it for myself.

SKIN1004 Zombie Pack

SKIN1004 Zombie Pack is available on their official website (used code KBEAUTYHOBBIT for 16% off), Amazon (sold by the brand), YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), Stylevana (code INF10KBH), Jolse, iHerb (code CWN6107) and Stylekorean.

The packs are made with albumin, centella asiatica extract, and panthenol. Albumin is a protein found in egg whites that can help with skin elasticity and the appearance of pores and fine lines. The mask promises to lift, gently exfoliate, improve skin texture and tone, and help with the oil-water balance. Other beneficial ingredients worth noting are adenosine, copper peptides, and niacinamide - a full list is provided at the end of the article.

How to use

  • Open one zombie pack powder and add activator

  • Mix thoroughly with the included brush

  • Apply the mixture evenly all over the face, avoiding the eye and mouth areas

  • Relax for 10-15 minutes

  • Once the mask is dry, rinse with lukewarm water

  • Follow with the rest of your routine

I prefer to mix mine with something a little harder than the brush, like a cotton swab, although the brush also works. The mixture of powder and activator is pretty liquid so watch for dripping. It starts to set fairly quickly though.

Even before I used the masks, I had people warning me about the scent. Yes, there’s a faint smell but it didn’t bother me at all. The brand says that’s the natural aroma of albumin, and to me it’s not an issue. I wouldn’t say the mask smells like egg (or like anything else I’m familiar with). It has somewhat of a medicinal vibe, but I don’t even think I’d notice if I weren’t trying to pay a particularly close attention for review purposes.

My impressions

This mask is really fun to use, and skintertainment is part of the skincare process for me. I was a little worried that it might be irritating, but it’s not. I have combination skin that’s very fair. My skin isn’t necessarily sensitive, but it’s reactive, meaning it turns red easily from excess friction, heat, etc. SKIN1004 Zombie Pack didn’t leave me red or irritated at all, and I’ve used them more than once by now.

There are some immediate and very noticeable benefits from the mask - my skin is super soft, smooth, and almost poreless. All other skincare sinks in effortlessly and I think even works better, too. I don’t like peel-off masks because they are irritating, but the Zombie Pack gives me better results as far as smoothness without needing to tug on the skin.

My advice is to use lots of water to loosen the mask and not rub or tug vigorously. My favorite way is to soak a washcloth in warm water and gently hold it to the face to rehydrate the mask, and then rinse. That way, it’s a super simple and gentle process.

Overall, I’m happy with the Zombie Pack and glad it provided noticeable skincare benefits and not just entertainment value. I will definitely use up this box and wouldn’t mind getting it again.
