Torriden SOLID IN Ceramide Lip Essence Review

Earlier this year, I got too excited about lip stains and inadvertently caused dry lips. The market bursts at the seams with lip balm and mask options, but a lip essence was something new. Torriden SOLID IN Ceramide Lip Essence contains Fuligo® Wax, jojoba oil, and ceramides to soften and nourish the lips. How to use

• Apply to the lips with the built in applicator or fingers

• Use a thick layer at bedtime for a night mask

The lip essence is clear, flavorless, and odorless. It’s ultra shiny and looks like a high end gloss when applied.

My impressions

This is a great lip treatment, but where it truly shines is as a topper for otherwise drying formulas. I love a good lip stain, but many of them highlight the dry horizontal line of my lower lip. I even asked the 99k members of my facebook group what to do about that dryness, and the advice ranged from stopping stains to simply accepting it since it’s from lip filler (I do not have lip filler, but thanks, I guess?). 

I did scale back on lip stains, but when I do want to wear them, I add Torriden SOLID IN Ceramide Lip Essence as a glossy top coat. It doesn’t interfere with color longevity and provides a much needed moisture surge. Plus, it looks so nice and glossy! I have also used it as a first step (applied right before I do the rest of my makeup). By the time I finish doing my face, I can put on lipstick over the Torriden and have nice results with minimal dryness. When used this way, Torriden does dilute and lighten the lipstick pigment a bit, but it doesn’t bother me.

This turned out to be one of my favorite lip treatment - definitely worth a try if you are in the market.
