Skinfood Peach Cotton Multi Finish Powder Review

My skin: combination with an oily t-zone and dry/normal everything else, usually no major issues.

Since my skin typically behaves, I don’t use BB cream and other foundation products daily (plus I’m so lazy in the morning and don’t want to do anything besides the bare minimum). For every day, I prefer using just powder to avoid a shiny face. I had The Saem and Innisfree powders before but have run out of both.

This time I chose Skinfood Peach Cotton Multi Finish Powder (for no other reason than a friend has ordered one and my inner hobbit got jealous). I went with the large size (15g), but a small size (5g) is also available.

The powder is the best one I’ve had so far (including non Korean ones). It’s colorless-white (I have very pale skin, so perhaps it would appear white on someone with a darker complexion), very fine, goes on flawlessly. The puff that comes with it is OK, quite soft, but I prefer using a kabuki brush.

The powder has a divine fresh peach smell (which dissipates quickly). Honestly, I would repurchase it just for the smell, I love it.

The manufacturer recommends applying the powder from the center of the face out, which is exactly what I do since my t-zone is my oiliest part and this gives it the most product. By the way, calamine in the ingredients is typically added to soothing creams and can help with itching and irritation, which is beneficial for my dry cheeks.

The mattifying effect lasts all day, I don’t even have to touch up at work. And it’s not such a complete matte that you no longer look human - it’s a natural look of healthy, clean and fresh skin. I’m attaching a picture so you may form your own opinion (pardon my roots - I ended up touching up my hair the next day haha).

You can buy the powder on eBay, Amazon or Cosmetic-love
