One time not too long ago, my inner hobbit had some sort of an “episode”. I needed a cream, ONE cream, to replace the one I ran out of, and instead ordered an insane amount of various things. Um… yeah. And this lip oil just ended up in the cart somehow. I even removed it at first trying to save some money (a useless attempt), but then added it back in.

I’m beyond happy that I bought this. My lips tend to be very dry, especially in the winter, and this year we had hail in the middle of April. Indoors, the air is super dry because of the heating. And since I’ve been dabbling in decorative lip products, it’s essential to have a healthy, hydrated canvas underneath. Even the best lipstick doesn’t look attractive on cracked, dry lips. I love my overnight lip mask, but it’s not the most portable thing when it comes to daytime hydration.
This oil is a miracle product. When applied, it feels more like a lip gloss (pretty!); it doesn’t run, isn’t sticky, and even when it sinks into the lips leaves a bit of a sheen. The applicator is adorable - quite wide and “fuzzy” and comfortable to use.
A separate note on scent. That might be one of my favorite features about this product. It smells like linden and honey and immediately lifts my mood.
The product hydrates and nourishes the lips thanks to the beneficial oils in the ingredients: sunflower, jojoba, rose, olive, etc as well as propolis and honey extracts.
This little container became my favorite lip product to date. I use it almost daily and am about half way out. My lips stopped cracking and bleeding, the tints and lipsticks go one much more evenly (and you can even apply decorative makeup over the seed oil once it’s absorbed into the skin, but I do that rarely). Sometimes, I apply the seed oil over the tint once the tint has had time to set in.
