I’m 28, have combination skin with occasional breakouts, and wrinkles that are trying to pop up on my forehead (I’m actively fighting that). In the summer, I’m more prone to oiliness, and in the winters - to dryness (except for the t zone).
I’ve had several serums but no ampoules (an ampoule typically has a higher concentration of active ingredients than serums). The Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule is quite famous, so I decided to try it.
The ampoule is supposed to make your skin flawless, brighten the skin and reduce signs of aging.
It contains fermented components:
Bifida ferment - strengthens the skin barrier, prevents damage and restores skin
Lactobacillus ferment - protects and supports the skin's clean, healthy look
Lactococcus ferment - strengthens and soothes sensitive skin.
The ampoule also contains a multi-vitamin complex, including vitamin C, which work in synergy with the fermented ingredients to restore and improve the skin’s condition while making it more elastic. I’m including the impressive list of ingredients at the end of the review.
How to use:
Apply after toner/essence and before serum/lotion
Despite the name, this product can be used in the morning as well. It does contain a small amount of retinol, which can increase photosensitivity of the skin, so I prefer to use it only in the evenings. It absorbs quickly, and I don’t notice any stickiness. When I use sheet masks, I apply a toner and then this ampoule before the mask.
I started using Missha products not too long ago, and not everything has been a win, but I like this ampoule. The packaging is like a dream - a beautiful, large glass (!) container with a nice dispenser. Some don’t like dropper dispensers, but I like them. And I love glass - it immediately conveys the sense of something fancy and expensive. The ampoule has a beautiful amber coloring, a slight scent that I barely notice, and doesn’t have any adverse effects on makeup application when used in the morning.
I’ve been using the ampoule for about a month. In the morning, I look like I’m 10 years old again and actually sleep at night :) The skin is smooth, supple, the wrinkles that are trying to form are on their best behavior. The dryness caused by the heating and winter is gone. I don’t have a lot of pigmentation issues, and I even mostly got rid of my freckles during the winter, but this product is meant to improve pigmentation. I hope the ampoule keeps the freckles under control in the summer too.
