Another day = another sheet mask. Adaline Keep Cool and Drink Ocean mask is meant to cool down and hydrate your skin, especially after a hot day or a sweaty workout. I recently stumbled upon an article that equated overheating the skin to having unprotected sun exposure as far as aging goes. Which means that effectively bringing down the temperature to the normal range should help you stay looking younger longer - great!
I work out at least five times a week, and often by the end I’m drenched in sweat and look like an angry tomato. Even after a shower, the skin might be a bit flushed. So I decided to try this Keep Cool and Drink Ocean mask, available on Facetory, to see if it helps.
Active ingredients:
Sea water - hydrates and soothes while supporting the skin’s natural barrier functions
Honeysuckle Flower Extract - soothes the skin and prevents premature aging
Chlorella Vulgaris Extract - moisturizes and prevents premature aging
How to use:
The usual way (cleanse, tone, apply mask), but don’t forget to discard the liner. The video below does a great job showing the process.
My impressions:
This mask is absolutely great. Very refreshing and cooling (without any artificially-induced “cold” sensations). The fit is nearly perfect and the thin but soft material stays put the whole time. The pink color induced by a sweaty workout was gone from my skin in no time. My face felt hydrated and smooth after application and the following day. I’d definitely buy this again.
