I’m a minimalist when it comes to makeup, but in the recent years I’ve discovered that a simple swipe of lip color makes my usual mascara and powder look way more put together. And I almost always get compliments when wearing lipsticks and tints. It’s quick and low effort, so I can easily do it every morning.
I was already placing a fairly large order of Missha items and decided to add Missha Magnefit Lip Lacquer in the color BE01 Bere Me Nude. It’s available on* eBay and YesStyle. The line comes with four other color choices.
The product is advertised as having a matte finish with long lasting wear and “moisturizing, comfortable fit”. Strange name, since to me “lacquer” would be glossy...

My impressions:
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a “lip lacquer”, but it turned out to be a liquid lipstick that lasts longer than most. During application and right after, it looks somewhat glossy and is very easy to spread on the lips. A few seconds later, it sets and becomes matte. There’s some transfer to coffee mugs and napkins, but it still lasts me well until after lunch. I picked what looked to me like the lightest color, but on me it looks darker than the marketing materials made it seem. Of course, some of it is related to my pale skin tone and the lighting for their professional photo sessions vs my at-home pictures. Still, I like the color.

The moisturizing claim is a stretch at best. This product doesn’t moisturize. Yes, it’s comfortable to wear and not drying. But if you try to apply it to lips that are already in the state of a Sahara desert, you will not get a desired smooth finish. The dry spots would be highlighted. My best advice, just like with any decorative lip products, is to use good lip care when you aren’t wearing makeup. I have reviews for lip care products that I like here. Let me emphasize this again - the Missha Lip Lacquer will not make your healthy lips dry, so don’t worry.
As the color wears out, it does so evenly and gradually, which is a huge selling point for me. I don’t always carry this in my purse - more often I simply apply it in the morning and never touch up. So it’s important that the lips don’t look splotchy as the color eventually dissipates.
