CLIO Crystal Glam Tint Review

For years, I leaned toward peachy or neutral lip colors, too afraid to use anything more bold or pigmented. Then, a friend started to gently encourage me to venture out of my comfort zone. We all need friends like that!

CLIO Crystal Glam Tint is a high shine lip tint with a glass finish. It’s available on Amazon, YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), and Stylevana (code INF10KBH). I chose 01 Vintage Apple.

The formula is easy to apply and the color is deep and beautiful.There’s a bit of a light, pleasant scent. It’s the most noticeable when the tube is brand new. Once I’ve had the tint in my rotation for a few months, the fragrance became less noticeable.

My impressions

This is ok… Just ok. The texture is creamy and pleasant, and the color looks pretty good right after application. Unfortunately, it tends to settle into any dry spots much more than other lip tints. If your lips are uniformly soft and supple, then you probably won’t have that issue. While I had no major complaints about CLIO Crystal Glam Tint, I didn’t reach for it nearly as often as for other lip makeup. I ended up having to toss at least half the contents because I could not use them up within the recommended 12 months after opening.

On the bright side, the stain left behind on the lips lasts quite a long time (which can also be a negative if you consider my massive dry patches that stay tinted forever hehe). The creamy layer wears off, similar to most tints I have tried. The packaging is gorgeous and deserves a special mention. “Crystal” was definitely the right name for this packaging and product.

Overall, this missed the mark for me, but I cannot say that it’s a universally bad product. Try it if you do not have major dry areas. And if you do struggle with dry lips, consider adding Abib lip mask to your routine. I got it too late - my CLIO tint had expired by then.
