[JOLSE] 2NDESIGN Springy Peeling Gel Tone Up Boost 120ml

Updated: Oct 27, 2020

2NDESIGN is a new to me brand with safe and clean ingredients. I’ve already reviewed their amazing cleansing oil here, and today I’ll tell you about their peeling gel that’s sold on*

The main purpose of any peeling gel is to remove dead skin cells, making the skin softer and smoother and ready for the subsequent skincare steps. The 2NDESIGN Springy Peeling Gel Tone Up Boost is made with natural cellulose and skin-loving ingredients such as allantoin, trehalose, and centella asiatica extract. Because of these beneficial additions, the gel doesn’t cause any dryness. The product has the consistency of a liquid cream. During use, the natural cellulose pills, taking dead skin cells and debris with it. The scent is very light and sophisticated.

How to use:

  • Apply to a clean, dry face with clean, dry hands

  • Massage in gentle circular motions. The gel will begin to pill

  • Rinse with warm water

  • Continue your routine as usual

The gel can be used a couple of times a week, as needed.

My impressions: I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry-to-normal everything else. Since we’ve welcomed a new addition to the family, my nightly routine has been a bit inconsistent. The “addition” wants to be in mommy’s arms all evening every night. Because of that, my skin became quite dry (I always cleanse but can’t always moisturize) and the texture isn’t even to the touch. This peeling gel gently removes all of that roughness and makes my skin feel so smooth! I try to do a sheet mask right after to guarantee a "fantastic skin day" the following morning. I love the soft feeling of freshly exfoliated and hydrated skin. I think this peeling gel is definitely worth a try. You can read my other peeling gel reviews here.
