ANUA daily lotion has a light texture and no scent (as far as I can notice). My combination skin drinks it up without any residual stickiness.
The marketing materials go on and on about hypoallergenic, EWG-verified ingredients. Hypoallergenic is an unregulated (and therefore meaningless) term, and EWG is not something I see as an authority. Do with this info what you will, but I encourage anyone with known sensitivities to take a close look at the ingredients list for any potential problems. Don’t trust the marketing.
My impressions
I didn’t expect much. In fact, I was ready to absolutely dislike this product and the brand overall. My inner anarchist always wants to trash super popular products - I cannot help myself. However, the Anua daily lotion is quite good. I have combination skin and don’t typically use moisturizers in the mornings - SPF is enough. However, my skin has been going through a lot lately. I’ve had some random dry patches, plus it’s very cold and dry outside. I find myself wanting something extra in the mornings, but it cannot be heavy or greasy. This Anua lotion fits the bill. Major bonus points for coming in an easy to use pump dispenser - the less effort in the morning, the better.
Is this spectacularly different and better than other light moisturizers? No. But it’s nice and it does make my skin softer, smoother, and overall better than before. Plus, it works well on the eye area without causing any irritation. I will happily finish my bottle.Â
