Klairs Supple Preparation All over Lotion is a lighter version of the famous Rich Moist Soothing cream for all over nourishment without stickiness. It’s sold on Amazon, YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), Stylevana (code INF10KBH), and Wishtrend (code LUCY15).
The lotion is cruelty free, fragrance free, and made without drying alcohols. Beta glucan, hyaluronic acid, and polyquaternium-51 support healthy barrier function, hydrate, and improve the skin’s ability to retain moisture.
How to use
Apply to the face and/or body after cleansing and toning
Marketing materials also suggest using this on wet hair after shampooing, but that doesn’t sound right to me. My hair is fine, thin, and straight, and I’m afraid Klairs lotion would weigh it down.
I chose this specifically for the body, because I have plenty of face products. The texture is light and pleasant without a noticeable scent.
My impressions
I always struggle with body care beyond basic washing. I love baths, but when it comes to moisturizing attempts, I lose motivation. A few months ago, I finally decided to keep body creams next to the bathtub and apply them before I get out. That was the magic golden ticket to more regular body moisturizer use.
Klairs Supple Preparation All Over Lotion is lovely. It’s light but still nourishing. I don’t think I would like that as a morning product, but it’s great before bed and sinks in before I put on pajamas. My skin is so soft and smooth even throughout winter. Bonus points for being fragrance free so it doesn’t bother my eczema-prone hands.
A solid choice if you are looking for a good body (and face) moisturizer in a generous size.
