Atoguardiangel Cera Lotion Review

One of my recent goals has been to take better care of the skin on my body. The face gets plenty of love with various jars and bottles, but the body rarely experiences anything other than basic cleansing. It’s time to change that, since body skin ages too.

I’ve been cleansing with Atoguardiangel foaming wash (review here) and then moisturizing with either their lotion or cream. Today’s review is for the Atoguardiangel Cera Lotion - available on Amazon (trusted vendor).

The lotion promises to soothe the skin, alleviate dryness-related itching, and increase moisture content by 28% (confirmed with human studies). Ceramide and shea butter support a healthy barrier function and make the skin soft and smooth. In addition to that, Cera lotion contains centella asiatica to help with redness and irritation. A full list of ingredients is available at the end of the review.

How to use:

  • Apply to any area in need of moisturizing

  • The official directions say to apply to dry skin, but I find that applying to damp skin helps seal in more moisture.

Atoguardiangel Cera Lotion has a thin-ish consistency with a light scent. It spreads easily and gets absorbed quickly without a sticky residue. The scent isn’t long lasting.

My impressions

My body skin is dry and prone to redness but not particularly sensitive. The legs are especially problematic and can even get flakey sometimes. I’ve been using the Atoguardiangel lotion almost every night lately - it’s so easy to apply, plus I love the convenience of the pump.

I like the scent. I’m not sure how super sensitive skin would do with the fragrance, but I like it and have had no issues. The texture is exactly what I like (I use the cream from the same line on the super dry areas like knees and elbows, or when my hands are feeling like sandpaper after a day of washing and sanitizing).

I noticed softer skin. There’s no more flaking or itching. The effect lasts well into the next day. It also makes a good hand lotion - I try to use a little bit after every hand wash at home (again, the pump is super convenient for this).

Overall, I’m enjoying this lotion. Have you tried anything by this brand?
