Sleep & Glow Pillow Bra Review

I’ve been talking about my love for Sleep & Glow pillows for years - they are amazing and worth every penny. Their blankets are also fantastic. At some point, we had to get extras for my husband and children, because I didn’t want to share.

But there’s one product in the Sleep & Glow lineup that had me curious for a while - the Pillow Bra. Is it just a gimmick or a life changer like their pillows? There’s only one way to find out. I’ve been using the pillow every night for several weeks and am ready to share my thoughts. All Sleep & Glow products are available on their website (affiliate discount code KB10).

The Pillow Bra is made for curvy side sleepers like me, and promises to gently support the chest, preventing neck and decolletage wrinkles. The bra is made using silk and cotton, with breathable stuffing inside.

How to use

• Wear like a bra, positioning the pillow between breasts

• Adjust the band and straps for a comfortable fit

My personal preference is to wear the pillow bra over my nightgown, not under it. It’s much cozier this way, because I cannot feel the straps on my skin. It also keeps the fabric of the pillow bra clean longer. Try it both ways and see what suits you best. To clean, hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle and air dry. I recommend using a garment bag to protect the lace if you are machine washing.

My impressions

This is fantastic! Let’s forget about wrinkles for a second and talk about comfort instead. Not to get too personal, but I have a large chest. I have to wear some sort of bra or at least a shelf tank top during the day, otherwise I get back and neck pain. At night, I sleep on my side and shove the top part of a body pillow between the breasts purely for comfort. This works okay-ish, until I turn. Most of the time, I wake up with the body pillow off to the side or on the floor, and things don’t feel very comfy.

Did my husband giggle at my Sleep & Glow Pillow Bra? Of course. But one beautiful part about aging is not caring what others think. I love this pillow! It offers gentle support and feels a lot better than a regular pillow wedged in the center. The only change I would make is to the bands, opting for wider, softer material. But this isn’t a deal breaker, and wearing the pillow over a nightgown makes it a non issue.

I wear size M or L in tops. When I adjust the pillow bra to fit me, there’s still room to make it bigger or smaller. The band states it will fit up to a size 2X. I also sometimes wear it while watching movies, because I like lying on my side and getting super cozy, even at the risk of passing out before the film is over.

I am so glad I tried this! And unlike my favorite Sleep & Glow Omnia, the pillow bra is highly portable, so I never have to go without. It would be easy to toss into a weekend bag and enjoy comfy sleep anywhere. If you have medium to large sized chest and love side sleeping, definitely get the Sleep & Glow Pillow Bra. It’s worth the money. Wrinkle reduction is a lovely bonus, but even without that, the comfort factor alone makes it a win for me.
