Cosnori Dynamic Setting Washable Mascara #2 Volume & Curl Review

A common advice new guinea pig owners get is to introduce multiple brands of food. The adorable pets tend to be picky eaters - once used to a specific brand, they become resistant to change. If that product ever becomes unavailable, the piggies can have a very difficult time adjusting to something else and even stop eating completely. What does this have to do with kbeauty? Everything. I am that guinea pig, but with mascara instead of food. Over the years, I became so dependent on Heimish Dailism Mascara that I don’t know what I would do if it ever got discontinued.

Cosnori Dynamic Setting Washable Mascara

My ideal mascara lengthens and volumizes, doesn’t end up under my eyes during the day, and can be easily removed with water and / or an oil cleanser without leaving behind raccoon eyes. I prefer tubing mascaras, but for some reason they are hard to find. I decided to try something else, just in case Heimish ever goes away, choosing Cosnori Dynamic Setting Washable Mascara in #2 Volume & Curl. It’s available on Jolse. The formula promises to coat and lengthen lashes and to easily come off with warm water.

How to use

  • Apply as you would any other mascara

The wand is curved and comfortable to use. I don’t notice curling, but it does volumize and lengthen. As far as removal, sadly this isn’t a tubing mascara, meaning it doesn’t come off in little “spider legs” the way Heimish does. However, it does wash off completely with cleansing oil and water, doesn’t leave anything behind, and doesn’t settle under my eyes during the day. While the color is black, it’s not as dark and intense as most other black mascaras I’ve used. It gives more of a natural look while still making a visual difference for my blonde lashes.

My impressions

This is a good mascara. It makes my lashes look darker, longer and fuller. It doesn’t clump, flake, smudge, etc. And it does come off easily. I haven’t tried removing Cosnori Washable Mascara with only water simply because I always double cleanse at night, so it makes sense to use the oil around the eye area too.

Cosnori Dynamic Setting Washable Mascara

This would probably be my holy grail if I tried it before Heimish. However, Heimish still reigns supreme - I love the intense color, super simple removal, the price - everything. I guess this guinea pig isn’t ready to branch out quite yet, but I will happily finish off my tube of Cosnori.
