This Dr.Ceuracle sunscreen has the texture of a light cream and spreads easily. The finish is semi-matte - not dewy but not drying. On me, there is no white cast (I am very fair and most sunscreens do not leave a cast on my skin).Since the formula uses all chemical sunscreens, it’s likely to look clear on most if not all skin tones.
Initially, there is a very noticeable herbal scent. The likely culprit is rosemary oil. Thankfully, it doesn’t linger and in general is not a deal breaker for me. I apply Dr.Ceuracle Cica Regen Vegan Sun all over my face, neck, ears, and around the eyes. It works fine on its own or under makeup.
My impressions
I absolutely love this sunscreen! The finish is perfect for my combination skin - I like the matte look without the dryness. I have no issues using this around the eyes, even if I get sweaty - there is no irritation.
To make this a holy grail item, I would remove the rosemary oil (or whatever is causing such a strong scent). I’m so glad it doesn’t last long, but I would have preferred an unscented formula or one with a different smell. My skin isn’t sensitive, so this is more of a personal preference.
Ever since I opened the tube, I’ve been reaching for this sunscreen over my other ones. The texture and finish make it my favorite formula.
